Welcome to the long overdue and still very basic Sun Valley Website, and hello to all of you who have kept in touch over the years.
After leaving South Africa in 1977 Anne and Max, Etienne, Jo-Anne, Dave Proctor, John Curteis and Will Dorling. Moved to Ireland and settled in Kerry.
After trying this and that we opened our art Gallery - BRUSHWOOD STUDIOS near The town of Sneem. Co. Kerry.
David and John returned to South Africa and after many years Will married Rosie and moved to England where they resurrected an ailing pottery - Burleigh - in Stoke on Trent.
Etienne Married Pam Shapiro, now a homoeopath - way back in 1978. They had met at one of the leadership courses. They have a son - Michael 23 and a daughter Diana 22
Jo-Anne married an Australian Gary Yelen and for a couple of years we had another Gallery in Australia but we have been back in Ireland now for over a decade. Jo and Gary are divorced but have two boys. Liam 18 and Andy 16.
We have been living in Ireland now for 29 years but Sun Valley, and all the people who made it what it was, still have a big place in our consciousness.
We also still maintain contact with Nella and her family.
We would be very interested in hearing from old Sunvalleyites, and getting an update on their lives, so please send any info, and photos (photos VERY COMPRESSED PLEASE). If you do not want your info to be included in the S.V. web site just let me know.
